Does Your LinkedIn Post
Sound Like AI Slop?
The 5-Part Framework to Guarantee Authenticity
Before you publish any LinkedIn post, score it against these 5 human-tested principles:
“Could Anyone Have Written This?”
Remove your name from the post. If 1,000 other founders in your niche could post the exact same lines without changing a word, it is generic slop.
The Specificity Test
AI naturally gravitates toward abstractions (e.g. “optimize leverage”). Humans use concrete numbers, timeframes, tool names, and dollar figures.
“Would I Say This Out Loud?”
Read your post aloud. If you wouldn't say it to a peer sitting across a table over coffee, rewrite it until it sounds conversational.
The Opinion Test
AI loves safe, balanced statements. Humans take bold, defensible stances. Ask yourself: “What do I believe here that another smart founder might disagree with?”
The Evidence of Life Test
Every top-performing post contains at least one piece of evidence that you lived it: a customer quote, an uncomfortable realization, a project that failed, or a concrete metric you tracked.
