GrowthAssist ("we", "our", or "us") is a product of Techcream Services and Solutions Private Limited, a registered legal entity based in Katni, Madhya Pradesh, India – 483770.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how long we retain it, and your rights regarding your data.

This policy applies to all users of GrowthAssist, including those who connect their LinkedIn accounts. By using our service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve our services. This includes:

a) Account & Personal Information

Full name and email address

Profile picture (if provided via LinkedIn or account settings)

Business or professional details you voluntarily share

b) LinkedIn Integration Data (when you connect your LinkedIn account)

When you authorize GrowthAssist to connect to your LinkedIn account via OAuth 2.0, we access only the permissions you explicitly grant. This may include:

Your LinkedIn profile information (name, headline, profile URL) — used solely to personalize content generation

Organization/Page data you manage — used to publish or schedule posts on your behalf

Post engagement data (likes, comments, shares) on content created via GrowthAssist — used only for your in-app analytics

We do NOT access your LinkedIn messages, connections list, contact details, or any data beyond what is explicitly required for the features you use. We do NOT scrape LinkedIn data.

c) User-Generated Content

Content drafts, ideas, and notes you create within GrowthAssist

Writing style patterns derived from your inputs (used only to personalize AI suggestions for you)

d) Usage & Technical Data

Browser type, device information, and IP address (for security and performance)

Basic interaction data (pages visited, features used) to improve the product

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data only for the following purposes:

To provide and operate the GrowthAssist platform and its features

To generate personalized AI content that matches your voice and professional style

To publish or schedule LinkedIn posts on your behalf (only with your explicit authorization)

To display in-app analytics on your own content performance

To improve product performance and user experience

To send important product updates or respond to your support requests

We do NOT use your LinkedIn data for advertising, profiling for third parties, lead generation, or any purpose other than the specific features you have authorized.

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR): We process your data based on (1) your explicit consent (OAuth authorization for LinkedIn), (2) contractual necessity (to provide the services you signed up for), and (3) legitimate interests (improving product reliability and security).

3. LinkedIn OAuth & Consent

GrowthAssist integrates with LinkedIn through the official LinkedIn API using OAuth 2.0 authorization. This means:

You explicitly authorize GrowthAssist to access your LinkedIn account by granting specific permissions during the OAuth flow

We only request permissions necessary for the features you use — we follow the principle of least privilege

You may revoke GrowthAssist's access to your LinkedIn account at any time by visiting your LinkedIn account settings under 'Permitted Services' and removing GrowthAssist

Revoking access immediately prevents GrowthAssist from accessing or publishing to your LinkedIn account going forward

You may also disconnect LinkedIn from within GrowthAssist settings, which deletes your stored LinkedIn tokens

We comply fully with LinkedIn's API Terms of Service, Developer Policy, and Member Agreement. We do not use the LinkedIn API to scrape data, generate leads, or take any action not explicitly authorized by you.

4. AI Processing

To generate content, your inputs (such as topic ideas and style preferences) may be processed by AI providers:

OpenAI (GPT models)

Anthropic (Claude)

Google (Gemini)

These providers process data only to deliver the requested content output. We do not share your LinkedIn profile data or post data with AI providers. Only the text inputs you provide for content generation are sent to these services.

Each provider operates under strict data processing agreements and their own privacy policies governing data use and retention.

5. Accounts and Access

You can create a GrowthAssist account using your email address or by signing in with LinkedIn

When signing in with LinkedIn, we receive only your basic profile (name, email, profile picture) as permitted by the OAuth scopes you authorize

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials

Access tokens for LinkedIn are stored in encrypted form and are used only to perform actions you explicitly initiate within GrowthAssist

6. Payments

GrowthAssist offers both free and paid subscription plans.

All payments are securely processed by Dodo Payments, a PCI-compliant payment processor

We do not store your credit card numbers, bank details, or any payment instrument information on our servers

Billing records (such as subscription tier and payment dates) are retained for legal and tax compliance purposes

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate our platform. Each is given access only to the data strictly required for their function:

Analytics: Google Analytics (anonymized usage data only)

Hosting & Infrastructure: Vercel

Email Communication: Brevo (transactional emails and support)

AI Content Generation: OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini) — receive only your text inputs, not LinkedIn data

Payments: Dodo Payments

LinkedIn Integration: LinkedIn API (governed by LinkedIn's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy)

We have data processing agreements in place with all third-party processors where required by law.

9. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on secure, access-controlled servers hosted on Vercel's global infrastructure

LinkedIn OAuth access tokens are stored with AES-256 encryption

We use HTTPS/TLS for all data transmission between your browser and our servers

Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only, on a need-to-know basis

We conduct regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments

In the event of a data breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law

While we implement strong security measures, no system can guarantee 100% security. We encourage you to use strong passwords and report any suspected account compromise to support@growthasist.com.

10. Data Retention

We retain different categories of data for different periods, in accordance with LinkedIn's API policies and applicable law:

LinkedIn profile data (name, headline): Retained only for the active session; not stored persistently beyond what is needed to display your account information

LinkedIn post/content data: Retained only as long as needed for your in-app analytics, and deleted within 30 days of account deletion or LinkedIn disconnection

OAuth access tokens: Deleted immediately upon disconnecting LinkedIn or deleting your account

User-generated content (drafts, notes): Retained while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of account deletion upon request

Account data (name, email): Retained for the duration of your account; deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request

Billing records: Retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian tax and financial law

We comply with LinkedIn's data retention requirements and do not retain LinkedIn member data beyond the periods permitted by LinkedIn's API Terms of Service.

Essential cookies: Required for authentication, session management, and core functionality

Analytics cookies: Google Analytics (anonymized) to understand how users interact with GrowthAssist

We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect functionality.

13. Children's Privacy

GrowthAssist is designed for business users and professionals, and is intended for users aged 18 and above.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has used our service, please contact us at support@growthasist.com.

14. International Data Transfers

GrowthAssist is operated from India. Your data may be processed or stored by our service providers in countries outside your home country, including the United States and the European Union.

When we transfer personal data outside the country of collection, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for EU data — to protect your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Material changes (such as changes to how we use LinkedIn data) will be communicated to you via email or a prominent notice within the application at least 14 days before they take effect.
